The document needs to be edited to give it a professional appearance. Follow the steps below to achieve this:

1. Add a single line page border of 1pt
2. Add the following company address to the top right hand corner of the document:

Network Stars

Mill Race Lane

Stourbridge

West Midlands

DY8 2MK

3. Add "Dear Mr Baker" under the address and LEFT ALIGNED.

4. Add the following to the bottom LEFT of the letter (below the text):

Kindest regards,

Mrs Wilkinson

5. Change the name Mrs Wilkinson to the character style "Intense Emphasis"

6. Change the margins to Narrow Margins

7. Add a first line indent of 1 cm to the paragraph beginning "At your request "

8. Add a border of your choice and a fill colour of your choice to the sentence "Subject: Recommendation to Purchase a Doe 4000 Computer System"

9. Add the trademark symbol in superscript to the right of the company name on the address.

The final letter should look like the image below:

Write a letter to the headteacher asking if you could have permission to start a new lunchtime club. You can develop your own idea for the club or use one of the suggestions from below:

• Coding Club
• Robotics Club
• Graphic Design Club

You letter must include the features learnt in Activity 1 and 2.

Instead of the YouTube video it may be more helpful to step the students through the key features. They will most likely know how to use Word, but they probably don't know some of the page layout features.
